depression mailing lists?

i'm looking for some m ore active mailing lists dealing with depression, anxiety, panic attacks and other related issues.

the ones i've managed to join arn't that active and i need all the support i can get.

anyone know of any?

Dan, have you heard of an organization called NAMI? It stands for National Alliance on Mental Illness. It's not a mailing list, but their website has discussion boards for all kinds of things. They are sorted in some cases by topic, in others by condition. like, "Major Depression," or "Bipolar disorder," whatever. Last I knew, those were pretty active. Again, not a mailing list, but they are accessible..or were, last time I knew. The website is just:

I think you have to create an account on there to participate in the discussion boards.

yes, i am very aware of nami and i get a monthly newsletter from them, and also some partners they are asociated with.

i will check out the boards...
